A dedicated Registered Nurse with specialized expertise in Interventional Radiology (IR) is sought for a contract opportunity located in Camilla, GA. This role requires a profound understanding of vascular lab procedures and demands professionals who can provide comprehensive patient care before, during, and after interventions. The position is based within a well-equipped vascular lab unit featuring three procedure rooms, handling an average of 8-12 cases daily, with the majority being outpatient.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients and assist with intraprocedural monitoring, sedation, and post-procedure recovery.
  • Collaborate closely with tech staff for room preparation, supply management, and charge processing.
  • Provide care during various procedures including PICC line insertions, fistulograms, catheterizations, declots, grafts, fistulas, balloon angioplasties, stent placements, and vein mappings.
  • Manage complex cases often involving critically ill patients, requiring experience in cardiac, ICU, or ER settings.
  • Respond proficiently to emergencies such as cardiac arrests within the unit.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years in Interventional Radiology or Vascular Lab nursing.
  • Must have completed at least one travel contract, or 4 years of IR experience without travel.
  • Valid BLS and ACLS certifications for RNs.
  • Familiarity with Meditech EMR system and Phillips portable telemetry equipment.
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with no weekends or on-call duties.
  • Comfortable working within a strict 75-mile radius.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., offering a consistent workweek without weekends or call responsibilities.
