A nursing opportunity is available for an RN skilled in Interventional Radiology in Charlotte, NC. This contract assignment offers a chance to work in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment where clinical expertise and teamwork are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and pediatric patients undergoing radiologic procedures.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across Emergency, ICU, outpatient, and nursing units.
- Maintain strong clinical skills in a high patient volume setting averaging 50-60 patients daily.
- Utilize department technology such as EPIC EMR and point-of-care testing equipment.
- Participate in fair call rotations and assist with holiday coverage as outlined in the contract.
- Adhere to departmental policies and maintain professional standards including wearing navy blue scrubs.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Current Registered Nurse license with a minimum of 1 year of clinical experience.
- Certification in BLS and ACLS required.
- Confidence in clinical skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented approach.
- Previous experience in Interventional Radiology preferred; first-time travelers considered.
Schedule:
- Day shift, 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week (5.25 shifts).
- No weekend rotations; travelers maintain consistent shift schedules as per contract.
- Call coverage shared equitably among full-time, part-time, PRN, and travelers.
