A specialized Registered Nurse with experience in Interventional Radiology is needed for a rewarding 14-week contract assignment in Nicholasville, KY. This role involves delivering expert care in a fast-paced procedure setting that spans neonatal to geriatric patients. The position requires advanced skills in neuro IR procedures and the ability to manage complex cases in a high-acuity environment.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology (IR) nursing experience
  • At least 1 year of Neuro experience or Neuro ICU exposure
  • Proficiency in neuro IR procedures
  • Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH required
  • Level One experience preferred
  • Comfort and skill in caring for patients of all ages, from neonates to geriatrics
  • Previous travel nurse experience required (local candidates within 75 miles not eligible)

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care during interventional radiology procedures
  • Support neuro IR interventions with clinical expertise
  • Monitor and manage patient conditions pre-, intra-, and post-procedure
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Participate in call schedule, working 4 days a week on 10-hour day shifts
