Key Qualifications:

• Current, unrestricted RN license
• Experience in Interventional Radiology preferred
• Proficiency with vascular access devices, moderate sedation, and assisting with IR procedures
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and patient communication abilities
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting with changing priorities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, effective nursing care during radiological interventions and diagnostic procedures
• Collaborate closely with physicians, technologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Manage patient preparation, monitoring, and recovery throughout procedures
• Administer medications and monitor for reaction or complications
• Maintain strict adherence to sterile technique and infection control protocols
• Provide thorough patient education regarding procedures and aftercare instructions
• Accurately document patient status, interventions, and procedural details in compliance with facility standards
