Schedule:

  • Travel contract assignment
  • Departmental orientation and onboarding included
  • Variable floating within the region as needed (clocked travel between facilities)

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license
  • Minimum 18 months of recent MedSurg/Telemetry experience
  • BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
  • Proficiency with cardiac rhythm interpretation, stroke assessments, PIV starts, chest tube management, trach care, NGT placement, drain/tube management, and medication drips including cardiac and heparin drips
  • Comfortable floating within regional network as needed

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care for varied diagnoses (stroke, COPD, chest pain, GI bleed, more)
  • Prioritize patient safety amidst changing ratios and acuity
  • Communicate effectively within a multidisciplinary care team
  • Utilize Epic, Alaris, Omnicell, and Philips monitoring technology
  • Engage with a supportive unit culture focused on collaboration and growth
