Med-Surg Nurse (RN) in Arnold, MO

Provide direct patient care on the night shift in a 13-week contract role on an 8 East Neuro Med Surg unit at a leading hospital campus in Arnold, MO. This role requires an RN with at least one year of Med Surg experience and a current Missouri RN license or eligibility for licensure. The position offers flexible guaranteed hours of 36 or 48 per week. Scheduled shifts are from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am with every other weekend required. The unit values professional accountability, patient rights, and confidentiality in providing care for post-trauma, surgical, and medical patients.

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Current RN license or eligibility for Missouri RN licensure
• Minimum 1 year of Med Surg inpatient experience required
• Preferred: 1 year Neuro experience
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• ACLS certification from AHA preferred
• Ability to float to similar or lower acuity units as needed

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive patient care including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Coordinate care with ancillary departments to optimize patient outcomes and comfort
• Maintain compliance with Missouri Nurse Practice Act and facility standards
• Adhere to patient confidentiality and facility mission, values, and service standards
• Participate in orientation on a day shift before starting nights
• Uphold facility dress code: black scrubs required
