A healthcare opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse skilled in Medical-Surgical care with telemetry capabilities. This contract position is based in Arvada, Colorado, offering the chance to work in a dynamic hospital environment on the Med/Surg 5th floor unit.

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to post-operative surgical patients and those requiring telemetry monitoring.
- Assess and monitor patients with cardiac drips such as amiodarone and diltiazem, including heparin drip management.
- Utilize remote telemetry equipment to interpret cardiac rhythms accurately.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses and assistive care technicians to maintain a patient ratio of approximately 5:1.
- Document and communicate patient status effectively using the MediTech electronic medical records system.
- Adhere to unit policies and guidelines, contributing to a high-energy, supportive team atmosphere.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current RN licensure and Medical-Surgical nursing experience.
- Proficiency in telemetry and the ability to read cardiac strips.
- ACLS certification preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-energy unit.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative work style.
