An opportunity is available for a registered nurse specializing in medical-surgical oncology to provide exceptional patient care within a well-established oncology unit. This contract position is based in Arvada, CO, and offers a dynamic work environment focused on delivering high-quality care for oncology patients in a state-of-the-art setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver competent nursing care to medical-surgical oncology patients with attention to detail and compassion.
  • Administer chemotherapy treatments following established protocols and safety guidelines.
  • Monitor patient conditions and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal care coordination.
  • Adhere to unit-specific policies and infection control practices to maintain a safe environment.
  • Participate in self-scheduling to support coverage needs, including working every other weekend.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
  • Experience in medical-surgical oncology preferred.
  • Chemotherapy certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Strong communication skills and a thoughtful, patient-centered approach.

Schedule:

  • 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM shifts
  • Commitment to working every other weekend
