Providing expert nursing care in a Med/Surg and Telemetry setting requires skill, dedication, and clinical experience. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic hospital environment known for handling a diverse patient population with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients with medical and telemetry needs, including stroke, respiratory illnesses, renal failure, and wound management.
- Interpret cardiac rhythms and manage non-titrating cardiac drips such as Cardizem and Amiodarone.
- Perform wound care, drain and tube management, PIV starts, and central line care.
- Collaborate with CNAs, respiratory therapists, hospitalists, and other interdisciplinary team members to provide patient-centered care.
- Utilize EMR systems (Epic) and operate relevant medical equipment including IV pumps and monitors.
- Participate in unit float assignments within the regional network when necessary.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active RN license.
- Minimum of 2 years Med/Surg and Telemetry nursing experience.
- Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
- Proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation and management of telemetry patients.
- Ability to work with a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining patient safety and quality care.
Contract Type: This is a contract position with a start date in early February and ending in early May.
Schedule/Hours:
- 12-hour night shifts.
- Flexibility to float within the region, with paid travel time when floating mid-shift.

- 32-bed unit with an RN-to-patient ratio of 1:5.
- No hospital unit clerks; nursing staff are supported by phlebotomy, IV/VAT teams, and virtual nursing resources.
