Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and occasional pediatric patients across medical, surgical, outpatient, observation, and swing bed services.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement the Nursing Process, ensuring holistic, patient-centered care that addresses physiological, spiritual, psychosocial, and developmental needs.
  • Maintain communication with the Unit Director, Clinical Nurse Lead, and Nursing Supervisor to foster a supportive team environment.
  • Uphold standards of care by adhering to hospital protocols and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

  • Active Vermont RN or multi-state license required.
  • Minimum of three years acute care experience, preferably with Meditech familiarity.
  • BLS and ACLS American Heart Association certifications.
  • Ability to work night shifts.
  • Pediatric-only nursing licenses are not eligible for this role.

Contract Details:

  • Contract position starting on Wednesdays; orientation week offers adjusted hours to accommodate midweek starts.
  • Flu vaccination required for credentialing with no exceptions.
  • All credentials must be uploaded five business days prior to start date for smooth onboarding.
