Deliver exceptional patient care in a role dedicated to the well-being of a culturally diverse population. This contract opportunity offers the chance to serve a broad community alongside a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, supporting patients on the general Medical-Surgical unit.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Orientation held every two weeks
  • Contract duration as specified by assignment

Key Qualifications:

  • Active, unrestricted RN license valid in any U.S. state or territory
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an RN in acute or sub-acute settings
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications from the American Heart Association
  • Willingness to complete Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications within six months of hire
  • Adaptability and independence in adhering to physicians’ orders and established protocols
  • Experience supporting patients and families across all age groups

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and compassionate care to medical-surgical patients, following established standards and physician instructions
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care with meticulous attention to detail
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health staff for optimal patient outcomes
  • Document patient responses, procedures, and significant events
  • Educate patients and families, supporting their understanding of health conditions and treatments
  • Remain current on clinical procedures and organizational policies
