- Conduct nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission to develop individualized care plans.

- Provide timely and accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the medical record.
- Participate actively in patient rehabilitation programs and manage direct patient care using the nursing process.
- Initiate discharge planning and patient education from the day of admission.
- Communicate any changes in patient status effectively among care providers to ensure continuity and safety.
- Provide guidance, training, and supervision to ancillary nursing personnel, delegating tasks appropriately.
- Ensure a safe environment for patients and staff by adhering to safety policies and promoting personal and environmental safety.

- Maintain necessary communication regarding service needs such as supplies and clinical training.
- Pursue professional development through continuing education and self-study.
- Assume charge nurse responsibilities after orientation as needed.
