A nursing professional is sought to provide compassionate, evidence-based care as an integral member of an interdisciplinary healthcare team. Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Current RN license (single state or multi-state compact)
- Certifications required prior to hire: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and RN licensure
- Experience administering Heparin IV strongly preferred
- Ability to articulate, read, and write in English proficiently
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Demonstrated critical thinking, analytical abilities, and effective time management skills
Location:
Located in Cumming, GA, this position places you in a vibrant community known for its scenic lakes, parks, and a family-friendly atmosphere. Situated north of Atlanta, Cumming offers a blend of small-town charm with convenient access to metropolitan amenities, excellent schools, and recreational activities year-round.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Partner closely with patients and their families ensuring culturally sensitive, patient-centered care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate and document safe, high-quality patient care
- Participate actively in performance improvement and shared governance initiatives
- Serve as a preceptor or mentor to nursing students and staff
- Promote evidence-based practice and contribute to nursing research and quality improvement
- Maintain compliance with all clinical standards, policies, and regulatory requirements
- Manage resources efficiently while supporting patient care across the continuum
Schedule / Hours:
- Nights, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
- Every other weekend
- Coverage for two major and two minor holidays annually
