Medical-Surgical Nurse (RN) - Fairport, New York

A registered nurse with acute med surg and telemetry experience is needed for a contract assignment at a 37-bed cardiac med/tele unit in Fairport, NY. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care during night shifts with a rotating schedule, supporting patient care in a dynamic hospital environment.

Schedule / Hours

• Night shift rotation: 7 PM – 7 AM / 7 AM – 7 PM
• 36 to 48 hours per week available
• One weekend shift per week or two weekend shifts every other weekend
• Must work at least one holiday during the contract

Qualifications / Desired Experience

• Minimum 1 year recent experience in acute medical-surgical/telemetry nursing
• 2 years U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates
• Preferred: 2 years recent experience in acute med surg/tele
• Active New York State RN license
• Current NIH AHA BLS certification

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care on a cardiac medical/telemetry unit
• Utilize EPIC charting system accurately and efficiently
• Remain flexible to meet scheduling needs, including potential block booking
• Float to other units as necessary to support staffing
• Willingness to take on charge nurse responsibilities; training provided
