Medical-Surgical Nurse (RN) - Fairport, New York

A nursing opportunity is available at a reputable medical center in Fairport, NY, seeking experienced registered nurses for a Cardiac Med/Tele unit with 37 beds. This contract role offers a chance to work in a dynamic environment with a dedicated team providing excellent patient care on rotating night and day shifts.

Shift/Hours:

• Night shift: 7 PM to 7 AM, with day shift rotation 7 AM to 7 PM
• 36 or 48 hours per week options
• One weekend shift per week or two weekend shifts every other weekend
• Must work at least one holiday during the contract

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active NY Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• NIH, AHA BLS certifications necessary
• Minimum 1 year recent experience in acute medical-surgical/telemetry nursing
• Preferred: 2 years recent experience in acute med surg/tele
• U.S. work experience: minimum 2 years required if candidate is from outside the U.S.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care on the Cardiac Medical/Telemetry unit
• Utilize EPIC charting system for accurate patient documentation
• Adapt to flexible scheduling demands of the facility
• Float to other units as needed
• Participate in charge nurse responsibilities with training provided

Contract Details:

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility
• Block booking may be requested but is not guaranteed
