Provide critical care nursing expertise in a dynamic hospital setting focused on cardiovascular and general intensive care. This contract role offers the opportunity to support a combined Cardio/General ICU, PCU, and MedSurg unit, engaging with a diverse patient base requiring both intensive and progressive care nursing skills. Key Qualifications:

  • Active RN license
  • Experience in Cardiac ICU, General ICU, or Progressive Care Units
  • ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
  • Ability to manage PCU patients and maintain appropriate patient ratios
  • Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the Cardio/General ICU, PCU, and MedSurg settings
  • Monitor patient conditions and coordinate interventions in collaboration with the healthcare team
  • Maintain adherence to hospital policies and clinical protocols
  • Provide education and support to patients and families
  • Document nursing care and patient progress accurately and timely

Schedule/Hours:

  • Contract position for 13 weeks
  • 48-hour work weeks
