Medical-Surgical RN in Gibbon, NE

An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with Medical-Surgical experience to work night shifts in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This assignment offers 12-hour shifts with a guaranteed 36 hours per week, ideal for nurses seeking consistency and a structured schedule. Candidates should have at least two years of unit experience and possess certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS).

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to PCU patients during night shifts.
• Monitor patient conditions and implement care plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies using BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS protocols.
• Document patient information and maintain accurate medical records.
