A California-licensed Registered Nurse with Pediatric and Skilled Nursing experience is needed for a contract position in Gonzales, CA. This role requires expertise in Cerner electronic health records, as well as current PALS and ACLS certifications. Candidates must be comfortable providing care in a non-critical pediatric setting and be willing to float to the skilled nursing department when necessary.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active California RN license
- Proficiency with Cerner electronic health records system
- Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- Experience caring for non-critical pediatric patients
- Ability to float to skilled nursing as needed

Responsibilities:

- Maintain all required certifications and licensure in compliance with state regulations
Contract Details:
- Contract position with billing handled on a weekly cycle
- Overtime hours after 40 per week compensated at regular rate plus additional pay
- Holiday and on-call rates apply as defined by the facility
- Shifts may be up to 12 hours, with any hours beyond 12 billed at a higher rate
- The hospital reserves rights to adjust assigned shifts based on census changes
