An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with Medical-Surgical expertise to provide high-quality nursing care at a well-equipped specialty care hospital in Ishpeming, MI. This contract position offers exposure to a diverse patient population in a facility known for its comprehensive services including heart and vascular care, cancer treatment, brain and spine care, rehabilitation, behavioral health, digestive health, bariatric medicine, women’s health, and pediatrics.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver patient-centered nursing care in accordance with established protocols.
  • Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to the healthcare team.
  • Administer medications and treatments safely and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to develop and implement care plans.
  • Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment, and health maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of nursing assessments and interventions.

Qualifications:

  • Current RN license with experience in Medical-Surgical nursing.
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
