Delivering quality patient care in a culturally diverse environment, this contract opportunity seeks a dedicated RN with expertise in Medical-Surgical nursing. You’ll be supporting a population within a rural health center that acts as a key referral point for surrounding reservations, working alongside a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Orientation sessions are conducted every two weeks, and compliance with facility health policies—including the option for COVID and flu vaccination exemptions with submitted documentation—is required.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Contract position with orientation every two weeks

Qualifications:

  • Active, unencumbered RN license (any US state, Puerto Rico, or US territory)
  • Minimum of 2 years’ RN experience in acute or sub-acute care
  • Current certifications:
    • Basic Life Support (BLS), American Heart Association
    • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), American Heart Association
  • Willingness to complete Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) within 6 months of hire

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care for diverse patient populations across all age groups
  • Adhere to physician orders, hospital protocols, and established standards of practice
  • Document and communicate patient status, collaborating in the planning and delivery of care
  • Demonstrate clinical judgment and independence while managing assignments
  • Support patients and families during inpatient and outpatient procedures

  • Limited on-site shared housing available ($600/month, availability-based; no family or pets permitted; housing application required 2 weeks prior to start)
