Qualifications/Desired Experience

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of California (required)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Acute care facility experience preferred
  • CPR/BLS certification (required)
  • ACLS certification within 6 months of hire (required)
  • PALS certification (required)

Responsibilities

  • Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients using established standards and the nursing process
  • Supervise and direct nursing staff activities; coordinate care with multiple disciplines
  • Collect and analyze patient data for diagnosis and care planning
  • Implement and evaluate patient care plans, promoting health and safety
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams in a humane and healing environment
  • Provide education and support to patients, families, and team members
  • Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
  • Delegate tasks appropriately and manage team duties efficiently
