Qualifications/Desired Experience
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of California (required)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Acute care facility experience preferred
- CPR/BLS certification (required)
- ACLS certification within 6 months of hire (required)
- PALS certification (required)
Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients using established standards and the nursing process
- Supervise and direct nursing staff activities; coordinate care with multiple disciplines
- Collect and analyze patient data for diagnosis and care planning
- Implement and evaluate patient care plans, promoting health and safety
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams in a humane and healing environment
- Provide education and support to patients, families, and team members
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
- Delegate tasks appropriately and manage team duties efficiently
