Medical-Surgical RN in Lowell, MA

Schedule/Hours:

• 24-hour coverage
• Three 8-hour shifts per week: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide professional nursing care to patients in the operating room, ensuring safety and comfort before, during, and after surgery
• Collaborate with surgical teams to prepare the OR and assist as needed during procedures
• Monitor patients' vital signs, administer medications, and document care accurately
• Uphold infection control and safety protocols within the surgical environment
• Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary staff and patients’ families to coordinate care plans

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Current RN licensure
• Minimum operating room (OR) experience required
• Strong clinical skills and ability to work efficiently in fast-paced surgical settings
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Commitment to patient-centered care and maintaining confidentiality
