Schedule/Hours:
- 24-hour coverage
- Three 8-hour shifts per week: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide professional nursing care to patients in the operating room, ensuring safety and comfort before, during, and after surgery
- Collaborate with surgical teams to prepare the OR and assist as needed during procedures
- Monitor patients' vital signs, administer medications, and document care accurately
- Uphold infection control and safety protocols within the surgical environment
- Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary staff and patients’ families to coordinate care plans
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Current RN licensure
- Minimum operating room (OR) experience required
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work efficiently in fast-paced surgical settings
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Commitment to patient-centered care and maintaining confidentiality
