Medical-Surgical Nurse (RN) - Moultrie, Georgia

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care to oncology patients on the medical-surgical floor
• Utilize telemetry monitoring and perform IV starts efficiently
• Manage patient caseloads with ratios of 1:6 to 1:7
• Document care accurately in Cerner and Soarian EMR systems
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Work night shifts, 3 straight 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current RN licensure with at least one year of recent MedSurg nursing experience
• Proven experience handling higher patient ratios confidently
• Familiarity with telemetry and IV start skills required
• Oncology nursing background highly preferred
• BLS certification required
• Previous travel nursing experience is a plus
• Must be willing to wear royal blue scrubs (not provided)
• Experience with Cerner and Soarian EMRs preferred

Schedule:

• Night Shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 to 07:00)

This contract assignment begins approximately three weeks after offer acceptance, covers 13 weeks with the possibility of extension, and offers block scheduling with minimal to no required time off. Candidates living 31-50 miles from the facility are preferred.
