Medical-Surgical RN in Nashua, NH

An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with Med-Surg experience to contribute quality care in a contract role based in Nashua, NH. This position involves providing direct patient care on a well-equipped medical-surgical unit located nearby, serving adult patients in a setting that supports professional growth and teamwork.

Qualifications and Desired Experience

• Current RN licensure with Med-Surg (MS) experience
• Minimum of 1 year acute care nursing experience
• Proficient in dysrhythmia management
• Certification in BLS and ACLS required
• Comfortable using PCA and IV pumps, telemetry
• Experience with electronic documentation systems preferred (Meditech Expanse a plus)
• Ability to work every other weekend and float to other units as needed
• Professional appearance with clean, appropriate uniform (no color restrictions)

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive bedside nursing care aligned with patient safety protocols and bedside care conferences
• Utilize skills to monitor cardiac rhythms and manage acute care interventions
• Collaborate with the healthcare team including LNA support to ensure optimal patient ratios and care quality
• Engage in safety rounding and adhere to unit guidelines and policies
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities
