This opportunity is ideal for registered nurses with acute care experience in bone marrow transplant (BMT) or hematology/oncology nursing who seek a challenging and rewarding contract role in Aurora, CO.

Role Highlights:

  • Care for patients receiving chemotherapy, biotherapies, stem cell transplants, and CAR-T therapies in a 36-bed unit expanding to 51 beds soon.
  • Work with a skilled multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • Utilize Epic charting in a supportive environment with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 3-4:1.
  • Engage in rotating shifts, including nights, providing continuity and comprehensive care.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in BMT or hematology/oncology nursing required.
  • Active CO or Compact RN license.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Oncology Nursing Certification (ONC) is a must.
  • Flexibility to float within the unit scope as needed.
  • Weekend work required based on unit needs.
  • First-time BMT/Oncology nurses with relevant acute experience are welcome.

Schedule:

  • Rotating shifts without straight nights or days requests.
  • Night shifts available: 3 shifts of 12 hours (7 PM to 7 AM).
