A specialized opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with a strong background in Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) and hematology/oncology care. This role involves providing critical nursing care to patients with blood cancers undergoing advanced treatments such as chemotherapy, biotherapies, stem cell transplants, and CAR-T therapy. The position requires adaptability to a rotating shift schedule and the ability to float between like units as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients on a 36-bed BMT unit (expanding to 51 beds).
- Provide treatment support including chemo/biotherapies and cellular therapies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Utilize Epic for accurate and timely electronic charting.
- Maintain nurse-patient ratios at approximately 3-4:1.
- Participate fully in rotating shifts with no straight night or day shift requests allowed.
- Float within scope among similar units as facility needs dictate.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active CO or Compact RN License.
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Oncology Nursing Certification (ONC) required.
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in BMT or hematology/oncology.
- Flexibility to work weekends as per unit requirements.
- First-time oncology nurses with required experience are encouraged to apply.
Shift Details:
- Rotating 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, three times per week.
- No requests for straight nights or days permitted.
Additional Information:
- Paid time off limited to 10 days maximum; restrictions on time off apply during peak periods including late December to early January and select dates in March and May.
- No on-call duties required.
