A specialized opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with oncology experience to support the Oncology Fusion Center in a contract role. This position is based in Neosho, MO, with assignments at a leading regional hospital known for its comprehensive cancer care services. The role focuses on infusion treatments and requires a compassionate professional skilled in chemotherapy administration and patient-centered oncology care.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current RN license with at least 1 year of infusion nursing experience
  • Competency in Port Access and PICC line care required
  • Chemotherapy certification preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification mandatory
  • Ability to float between Oncology Clinic and Oncology Infusion Center as needed
  • Professional demeanor with adherence to dress code (black scrubs; no casual attire)

Responsibilities:

  • Administer chemotherapy and other infusion therapies using equipment such as Alaris Pumps and vein finders
  • Manage patient care for oncology clients, maintaining a safe nurse-to-patient ratio (1:4 in infusion, 1:5 in clinic)
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced outpatient oncology setting
  • Document and manage patient data through the EPIC electronic medical record system
  • Respond to facility call requirements as necessary to support patient care

Schedule/Hours:

  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (5x8)
  • No weekend hours; 36 guaranteed hours weekly
