Oncology Registered Nurse - Newton, Kansas

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert medical-surgical nursing care with a focus on oncology patients
• Administer chemotherapy treatments in accordance with certified protocols
• Utilize Meditech EMR for accurate charting and patient documentation
• Collaborate with a strong charge nurse team to support onboarding and daily care activities
• Perform vital signs monitoring at prescribed intervals, including more frequent checks for remote telemetry patients
• Communicate promptly with care team members through a dedicated nursing smartphone system

Desired Qualifications:

• Active RN license with valid Med/Surg experience required
• Oncology or chemotherapy certification preferred
• ACLS certification is a plus
• Ability to thrive in a primary nursing care model and work effectively in a team-driven environment
