Medical-Surgical Nurse (RN) - Saco, Maine

An opportunity is available for a skilled Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse to support a dedicated team on the night shift. This contract role offers a 36-hour workweek, structured as three 12-hour shifts with variable scheduling to include some nights and every other weekend coverage. No on-call duties or block scheduling are required, providing a balanced work-life rhythm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including telemetry when applicable

• Ensure documentation accuracy and adherence to timecard completion protocols
• Adhere to all regulatory and facility guidelines, including mandatory flu vaccination and certifications

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse license
• Previous experience exclusively in Medical-Surgical nursing is required
• Current certifications in ACLS and BLS/BCLS
• Telemetry experience preferred
• Compliance with State of Maine health requirements, including flu vaccination
