An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with experience in Med Surg and Pediatrics to provide exceptional nursing care on a night shift basis. This contract position requires an adaptable professional skilled in adult and pediatric nursing care, working within a Med Surg/Peds unit that primarily serves adult patients with occasional pediatric cases.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care for adult and pediatric patients.
• Apply theoretical nursing concepts in clinical decision-making to ensure quality care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Utilize EPIC EMR for accurate documentation and communication.
• Maintain current certifications and compliance with state and facility standards.

Qualifications & Required Experience:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure with the Missouri State Board.
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications.
• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience.
• Experience with Med Surg and Pediatric patients preferred.
• Ability to work night shifts with a schedule of 36 guaranteed weekly hours.
• Strong assessment and clinical judgment skills.
