RN Med Surg | Sun Valley, Nevada

An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with Medical/Surgical experience to provide skilled nursing care in a fast-paced hospital environment. This role requires flexibility to float between units and work weekends, offering a dynamic work setting that supports varied clinical skills and experience.

Schedule/Hours

• Night shift
• 12-hour shifts
• Weekend availability required

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care in medical/surgical units
• Float between units as needed to provide coverage
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to all clinical protocols
• Adhere to compliance requirements and complete all necessary documentation timely

Qualifications/Desired Experience

• Current and active nursing license
• Medical/Surgical nursing experience preferred
• Must be able to work night shifts and weekends
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to adapt to different unit needs and workflows
• Certifications required before starting: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP as applicable
• Proof of vaccinations or declination for MMR and Varicella

Additional Details

• Contract position for approximately 26 weeks
• Minimum compliance requirements must be met prior to starting, and full compliance profile completed within two weeks of start date
• Preference given to candidates available for a full schedule through the end of January and the first week of February
