A rewarding opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse experienced in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry care at a hospital specializing in cardiac services. Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive nursing care on the Cardiac Medical/Telemetry unit, supporting patients through their recovery.
- Manage patient assessments, interventions, and documentation using EPIC charting systems.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care tailored to patients’ needs.
- Maintain flexibility by floating to other units as required and participating in charge nurse duties with provided training.
- Comply with facility scheduling needs, including working holidays and weekend shifts regularly.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active New York State RN license with current NIH, AHA, and BLS certifications.
- Minimum of 1 year recent acute med-surg/telemetry nursing experience; preferred 2 years.
- For international candidates, at least 2 years of U.S. nursing experience is required.
- Strong adaptability to fluctuating schedules and unit assignments.
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
Schedule:
- Night shifts: 12 hours (7 PM to 7 AM)
- 36 to 48 hours per week available
- One weekend shift per week or every other weekend two shifts
- Required to work at least one holiday during the contract
