Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and analyze patient health data to determine nursing diagnoses and care priorities.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans that promote health and safety.
• Supervise and direct the activities of assigned nursing staff.
• Collaborate closely with patients, families, and healthcare providers to foster healing and humane care.
• Provide education to patients, families, and care teams on health management.
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
• Delegate tasks appropriately to healthcare team members.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of California—required.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required within six months of hire.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required as per department standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Experience in an acute care facility preferred.
