Advance your nursing career in a high-acuity, collaborative environment serving neonatal intensive care patients. This contract opportunity calls for an experienced RN with specialized expertise in Level 3 or Level 4 NICU settings, working alongside dedicated staff in a busy, state-of-the-art facility.

Schedule:

  • Requires at least 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule (flexibility on which weekends)
  • Opportunity for voluntary floating to adult units

What We Seek:

  • 6 months–1 year recent experience in a Level 3/Level 4 NICU or PICU setting
  • CRT or RRT credential, plus active Texas RCP license
  • Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications
  • Proven ability to collaborate and communicate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Flexibility and adaptability to respond to rapidly changing patient needs

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality respiratory and nursing care to complex neonates and pediatric patients
  • Manage therapies such as nebulizer treatments, airway clearance, BiPAP, ventilator support, HFNC, bronchial assistance, and ABGs
  • Work with advanced equipment including Servo U ventilator (with NAVA), Avea Ventilator, V60 noninvasive systems, Vapotherm, HFNC blenders, MetaNeb, and others
  • Document care accurately using Meditech EMR
  • Uphold standards for infection control and patient safety
  • Maintain professional appearance following the department dress code (olive/sage or black scrubs)
  • Participate actively in improving patient outcomes and creating a supportive work culture
