Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to neonates in the NICU, monitoring vital signs and responding to medical needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Utilize specialized equipment to support and stabilize neonatal patients.
- Educate and support families during the care process, providing clear communication and compassion.
- Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and standards within the NICU environment.
Desired Experience and Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license with neonatal or NICU specialization.
- Experience in neonatal and perinatal nursing preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities.
Schedule and Assignment Details
- 12-hour shifts covering days and nights.
- Weekend rotation every other week.
- Full-time Equivalent (FTE) options available: 0.9 or 1.2.
- Assignment length: 8 weeks.
- Travel assignment with flexibility to relocate.
