Schedule & Duration:
- 36 hours per week
- 16-week contract
Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted RN license
- Current BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a NICU RN
- Proficiency in charting with EPIC or equivalent EMR software
- Ability to wear scrubs in any color
Responsibilities:
- Provide critical nursing care for premature and ill newborns in the NICU
- Administer medications, treatments, and monitor vital signs
- Collaborate with neonatologists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure individualized patient care
- Offer education and emotional support to families during challenging times
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation within the EPIC system
- Adhere to safety protocols, infection control measures, and department standards
- Assist in the stabilization and ongoing management of neonatal patients with varying acuity levels
