An opportunity is available for a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) nursing to provide exceptional care for critically ill newborns. This role demands clinical expertise, compassion, and a commitment to supporting vulnerable infants and their families in a fast-paced NICU environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized nursing care to critically ill or premature newborns.
- Monitor vital signs and administer treatments, medications, and interventions as prescribed.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Educate and support families on care plans, procedures, and infant health status.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records following protocols and standards.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and provide life-saving interventions when necessary.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Proven experience in a NICU setting.
- Strong knowledge of neonatal physiology, conditions, and NICU equipment.
- Ability to perform under pressure with excellent critical thinking skills.
- Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
