Schedule / Hours:
- Dayshift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday
- On-call rotation required, covering weekdays, weekends, and holidays
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare operating rooms by setting up surgical instruments and equipment
- Assist surgical teams during procedures to ensure patient safety and comfort
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and respond promptly to any changes during surgery
- Maintain sterility and adhere to infection control standards throughout surgical processes
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals
- Document surgical care and patient information accurately
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Current RN licensure with proven experience in operating room nursing
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, instruments, and aseptic techniques
- Ability to respond quickly and effectively in high-stress situations
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to participate in on-call rotations including weekends and holidays
