Operating Room RN in Clarksburg, WV

An excellent opportunity is available for a registered nurse with operating room experience to provide high-quality perioperative care in a dynamic surgical environment. This contract position is based in Clarksburg, WV, offering the chance to work with advanced surgical equipment and collaborate across multiple specialty service lines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care in the operating room setting.
• Utilize expertise with Olympus endoscopy and Stryker laparoscopy equipment during surgical procedures.
• Support surgical teams across General Surgery, OB/GYN, Orthopedics, and cataract service lines.
• Respond effectively to on-call duties, including coverage during evenings and weekends.
• Provide post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) support as part of call responsibilities.
• Adhere to patient safety protocols and documentation standards using Cerner EMR.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current RN licensure with verified experience in operating room nursing.
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics (ALCS).
• Familiarity with Olympus endoscopy and Stryker laparoscopy equipment is highly beneficial.
• Ability to work a 5-day schedule with shifts from 6:45 AM to 2:45 PM.
• Willingness to take on-call rotations, including weekend coverage.

Schedule:

• Five 8-hour shifts per week.
• On-call hours from 3 PM to 7 AM during weekdays and from 3 PM Friday to 7 AM Monday on weekends.
