OR Nurse (RN) - Corsicana, Texas

An opportunity for a Registered Nurse with operating room experience is available in Corsicana, TX. This contract role involves providing skilled nursing care in a busy surgical environment, supporting multiple surgical specialties including general surgery, endoscopy, robotics, orthopedics, and some vascular procedures. The position balances direct patient care with professional collaboration in the operating suite.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver perioperative nursing care to surgical patients with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Assist in preparing and maintaining a sterile operating environment
• Support surgical teams during procedures with expertise in multiple specialties
• Maintain accurate patient records through paper charting
• Participate in call rotation including evenings and occasional weekends

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current RN licensure with at least 2 years of operating room experience
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced OR setting
• Willingness to participate in call shifts and weekend rotations as specified
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the job location

Work Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM
• Call duty one evening per week (3:30 PM to 6:30 AM)
• Call duty one weekend per month, rotating schedule
• No block scheduling or floating required
