A Registered Nurse with expertise in the Operating Room is needed for a travel opportunity in Des Moines, IA. This role requires a minimum of two years of recent OR experience, with strong proficiency in circulating duties and a desire to grow scrub experience. The position focuses on supporting surgical cases that include General Surgery, Robotics, Pediatrics, and Trauma, with opportunities to work in specialty areas such as Neurosurgery, Orthopedics (primarily trauma), Gynecology, Urology, Transplants, Plastics, ENT, and Vascular surgeries.

Key qualifications and experience:

  • At least 2+ years of current OR nursing experience
  • Proficient in circulating within the OR setting; scrub experience preferred but not mandatory
  • Demonstrated proficiency in General, Robotics, Pediatric, and Trauma surgical cases
  • Experience with EPIC electronic medical records within the past 3 years
  • Level I trauma center experience required
  • Previous travel nursing experience completed within the past 12 months (no first-time travelers)
