Schedule/Hours:
- Mid 5x8-hour shifts: 2:30 pm – 11:00 pm
- One mandatory 12-hour shift per month on a weekend (7:00 am–7:00 pm or 7:00 pm–7:00 am)
- Weekend shifts every other weekend (approximately two per month)
- No weekday call, no holiday time off requests, and no RTO on weekends
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver skilled nursing care in Operating Room environments including Orthopedics, Orthopedic Trauma, Vascular, Urology, and General Surgery
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in scrub and circulating roles within surgery
- Float across units as required within scope to meet operational needs in a Level 1 Trauma Center
- Assist in patient care consistent with trauma protocols in a fast-paced acute care setting
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years’ recent acute care experience in the OR
- Experience in Level 1 Trauma is essential
- BLS certification required
- Preferred specialties include Neurosurgery, Open Heart/Thoracic, Ophthalmology, ENT, Bariatrics, and Gynecology
- Locals preferred, ideally living within 75 miles of the facility
