An opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse in the Operating Room (OR) seeking a contract position in Hazard, KY. This role requires a strong background in perioperative nursing with the flexibility to work a call rotation and every 6th or 7th weekend. The position offers a 13-week assignment, ideal for nurses who have previous travel experience and want to take on a new challenge in a dynamic clinical setting.

Responsibilities:
- Provide expert circulating nurse support during surgical procedures with a focus on Orthopedics, Endoscopy, General Surgery, and ENT cases
- Maintain adherence to patient safety protocols and sterile techniques in the operating room
- Participate actively in a call rotation schedule and weekend coverage every 6th or 7th week
- Collaborate closely with surgical teams to ensure efficient OR workflow and patient care
- Remain prepared for interview calls promptly when shortlisted
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current RN licensure with Operating Room experience and certifications in BLS and ACLS
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on OR circulator experience is required
- Strong Orthopedic surgical experience is essential; additional skills in Endoscopy, General, and ENT cases preferred
- Previous travel nursing experience is advantageous
- Must reside within 100 miles of the assignment location to be considered
