OR RN in Inez, KY

An opportunity is available for a skilled Registered Nurse with Operating Room experience to provide expert perioperative care at a healthcare facility located in Inez, KY. This contract assignment requires a dedicated professional capable of handling a variety of surgical cases, including vascular procedures, orthopedic surgeries, and general surgical interventions, while supporting patient recovery in post-anesthesia care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care in the Operating Room with case expertise in general OR procedures, endarterectomy involving stents and patches, aneurysm interventions, vessel cleaning and clot stripping
• Assist with orthopedic surgeries including total joint replacements, ORIF, and arthroscopy
• Support general surgery, laparoscopic surgeries, endoscopy (GI), and gynecological procedures
• Provide relief support for ENT surgeries such as tubes, tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, thyroid surgery, and nasal fracture repair
• Serve in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) during call back situations to aid patient recovery
• Participate in scheduled call shifts as assigned (one shift per week and one weekend per month)

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current RN licensure with at least 2 years of operating room experience
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required
• Previous travel nurse experience preferred
• Reside within 100 miles of the facility to be eligible for this contract
• Ability to start promptly with orientation offered bi-weekly
