OR Registered Nurse | Mabank, Texas

An opportunity for a skilled Registered Nurse with Operating Room experience is available on a contract basis in Mabank, TX. This role requires a dedicated professional with a strong background in multiple surgical specialties, committed to delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current RN licensure
• Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications
• Minimum of 2+ years of Operating Room experience covering multiple specialties including General Surgery, Endoscopy, Robotics, Orthopedics, and some Vascular procedures
• Ability to maintain a 1:1 patient ratio in a surgical environment

Schedule:

• Day shift: 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• On-call required one evening a week (3:30 PM – 6:30 AM) and one weekend per month (rotating)
• No block scheduling, no floating, and no blackout dates for time off

Responsibilities:

• Providing perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing various surgical procedures
• Collaborating with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and protocol adherence
• Utilizing paper charting in documentation
• Maintaining sterile fields and adherence to infection control measures
