OR RN - Raleigh, NC

A skilled Registered Nurse with expertise in the Operating Room is sought to support a dynamic surgical team at a prominent medical campus in Raleigh, NC. This contract position offers a 13-week opportunity to work variable 12-hour shifts, delivering care across orthopedic, spine, gynecological, general surgery, and robotics specialties. Candidates with 3-5 years of relevant OR experience will find this role a rewarding challenge that demands resilience, adaptability, and strong interpersonal skills.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Current NC or Compact RN license
• AHA BLS certification required
• Minimum 3-5 years of nursing experience in OR settings covering ortho, spine, GYN, general surgery, and robotics
• Proficient with Epic charting preferred
• Demonstrated ability to manage change effectively and work collaboratively in a fast-paced surgical environment
• COVID-19 vaccination (including booster) required unless an approved exemption applies
• Travel nursing experience highly advantageous

Responsibilities Include:

• Delivering perioperative nursing care aligned with best practices in multiple surgical specialties
• Providing support during complex procedures in robotics and traditional surgeries
• Maintaining strict adherence to scrubbing protocols and dress code (scrubs in red, black, gray or white solid colors)
• Participating in weekend call shifts (up to 50 hours every 6 weeks)
• Flexibility to work 36 to 40 hours per week across variable 12-hour shifts
