Travel OR RN - Urbandale, IA

This opportunity seeks a skilled Registered Nurse with expertise in the Operating Room to support surgical teams in the Urbandale, IA area. This travel assignment offers a dynamic environment requiring specialized proficiency in various surgical cases and a solid foundation in circulating nursing responsibilities.

Key Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years recent OR nursing experience
• Proficient in circulating duties; scrub experience preferred but not required
• Competent in general surgery, robotics, pediatrics, and trauma cases
• Additional experience beneficial in neuro, orthopedic trauma, gynecology, urology, transplants, plastics, ENT, and vascular procedures
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records within the last 3 years
• Experience in a Level I facility setting
• Must have completed at least one travel assignment within the past 12 months; no first-time travelers

Responsibilities:

• Provide safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care in the operating room
• Collaborate closely with surgical teams to ensure efficient patient flow and positive outcomes
• Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and standards in a fast-paced environment
• Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and communication
