A registered nurse with experience in operating room care is needed for a contract position in Charlevoix, MI. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide perioperative nursing care in the operating room setting.
- Collaborate with surgical team members to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
- Prepare and maintain OR equipment and supplies in accordance with health system standards.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes during surgical procedures.
- Document nursing care and surgical site information accurately and promptly.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
- Operating Room (OR) nursing experience preferred.
- Background in orthopedic, general surgery, endo-vascular, urgent care, or obstetric nursing is highly favored.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) by the American Heart Association is mandatory.
- Possession of a current Michigan nursing license verified through LARA and Nursys.
