A registered nurse with operating room expertise will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality surgical care. This contract position is located in the Gaylord, Michigan area, ideal for those open to working in or around Petoskey as well. Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures.
  • Supporting surgical teams in Orthopedics, General Surgery, Endo-Vascular, Urgent Care, and Obstetrics as needed.
  • Adhering to health system-wide profile standards and complying with safety protocols.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation.
  • Collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience is required.
  • Preferred experience in Orthopedics, General Surgery, Endo-Vascular procedures, Urgent Care, or Obstetrics.
  • Current Michigan RN license verification is mandatory; applicants should provide LARA and Nursys details.
  • Completion of a skills checklist within the last year for nursing specialties.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
