Nurse | Quincy, Massachusetts

Schedule/Hours

• 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend and holiday required

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive acute nursing care to patients in cardiac and medical-surgical units
• Float between cardiac and med-surg units, adapting quickly to different care settings
• Independently interpret telemetry strips and maintain high accuracy in cardiac monitoring
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and quality care
• Uphold documentation standards using electronic health record systems, preferably EPIC

Qualifications & Desired Experience

• Minimum 2 years recent acute care experience, with specific recent cardiac medical-surgical experience
• Familiarity with Meditech, IVs, telemetry, and acute care protocols
• Ability to pass an on-site telemetry exam with a score of 84% or higher on Day 1 (two attempts allowed)
• 3-5 years of med/surg telemetry nursing experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records strongly preferred
